The Department of Justice's Office of Justice Programs (OJP) announced this morning that it has finalized more than three times the number of Public Safety Officers' Benefit (PSOB) claim determinations compared to the previous nine months. This is a step forward in honoring the sacrifice of first responders and their families, and CFSI looks forward to continued collaboration with the PSOB Office.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

C3 Health, LLC Acquires Rescue Link, Launches NexusLink to Transform Healthcare Technology

Lancaster, PA — July 08, 2026

C3 Health, LLC, a Lancaster-based provider of comprehensive healthcare services including non-emergency medical transportation, consulting, training, and innovative solutions development, today announced the acquisition of Rescue Link, a specialized developer of healthcare software products including dispatch, EPCR, LMS (online training), HR suite, time management (time clock), vehicle/ equipment checks, fleet maintenance tracking, fatigue mitigation, and direct end user interface capability products.

Rescue Link has built advanced software solutions designed to connect disparate facets of healthcare — creating greater data generation, operational efficiencies, economic advantages, and improved patient outcomes. The acquisition unites C3 Health’s deep operational expertise with Rescue Link’s technology platform to launch NexusLink, a new integrated solution poised to address critical challenges across the healthcare industry.
“NexusLink represents the next evolution in healthcare innovation,” said Ron Oettel, Managing Partner of C3 Health. “By combining our hands-on experience delivering compassionate care with Rescue Link’s powerful technology, we are creating a unified platform that enhances data collection, analysis, efficiency, and collaboration. This will deliver meaningful economic and operational advantages and, most importantly, better outcomes for patients and providers nationwide.”

The integration of Rescue Link’s technology is expected to strengthen C3 Health’s capabilities in electronic health records, patient engagement, scheduling, revenue cycle management, AI-driven analytics, telehealth, and secure data interoperability. NexusLink will offer healthcare organizations across the United States — including hospitals, EMS providers, physician practices, and payers — a new, innovative, and cost-effective solution to longstanding challenges in data management and care coordination.

“This acquisition aligns perfectly with our mission to be in the business of caring for and loving people,” Oettel continued. “Technology alone is not enough — it must serve people. NexusLink will help bridge gaps in the healthcare system, driving efficiency while keeping compassion at the center of care.”
Leadership from Rescue Link will join the C3 Health team to ensure a seamless transition. Existing customers will experience no disruption in service, and current software products will continue to be supported and enhanced under the NexusLink brand.

Key areas of investment and innovation under NexusLink include:

• Artificial intelligence and clinical decision support
• Advanced patient engagement and communication platforms
• Revenue cycle optimization and financial analytics
• Secure data interoperability across healthcare systems
• Scalable cloud infrastructure and cybersecurity
• Expanded product development for EMS, transportation, and care coordination
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
