Well… today was WILD. 😂

Record-breaking busy. Big order after big order after big order. We were hustlin’ the entire night, grinding beef as we went, and even had to pause orders a few times just to give ourselves a chance to catch our breath and catch up.

And every time we finally got caught up…

BOOM. Another giant order. 😂

It just never stopped.

Was the wait longer than usual? Absolutely. But we are incredibly thankful for the business and even more thankful for the patience and understanding from everyone who waited on us tonight.

We know nobody wants to sit around waiting on a cheeseburger, and we truly appreciate y’all hanging in there with us.

Hopefully everyone left with a full belly and felt like the wait was worth it. ❤️

We finally made it to Two Farmers in Mt. Carmel, IL. Wanted to get there for months.

Beth had maple bacon smash and I had a triple on a grilled cheese bun. Oh my! A grilled cheese bun. That’s a game changer! I was in heaven.

A very, very good burger.

It’s a short trip and well worth it. These folks are doing a fantastic job. And a friendly crew. Fantastic! We will for sure visit again."

✈️Not every day you have customers take a plane trip just to eat your cheeseburgers🍔

It was such an honor to serve these two gentlemen☺️

"Today is National Cheeseburger Day, so naturally, I had to celebrate the right way..

By flying the plane to Mount Carmel, Illinois, for a "$100 cheeseburger" flight!

And today, I brought my dad along for the ride.

Our destination was Two Farmers, a local spot opened by Chloe and Dillon Farmer back in 2020.

Two Farmers is only open Thursday through Sunday, so check their page for current hours before making the trip.

And after a gorgeous and warm flight, I was ready to land and get that burger!

One thing I already knew... They grind their own beef in-house, and they take their burgers seriously.

So, let's get to the important stuff.

The food!

First up was the Triple Buffy Burger.

This thing comes with 3 smash burgers, pizza seasoning, garlic aioli, Swiss and American cheese, all piled onto a pretzel bun.

And let me tell you..

This burger was AMAZING!

The fries deserve some attention too.

Two Farmers puts their own salty-sweet seasoning on them, and it works.

They were seriously good.

But then..

Things got even better.

Word had got back to owner Dillon that I had
flown into Mount Carmel specifically for his cheeseburger on National Cheeseburger Day.

And Dillon went above and beyond.

He made me something I wasn't even expecting to get today...

The Famous Maple Bacon Double Smashburger.

Now, this burger is normally only available Saturday and Sunday and sells out fast.

Today was Friday so I had zero expectations of getting one.

But Dillon hooked me up.

And folks...

This burger was LIFE CHANGING!

I'm not exaggerating when I say this was one of the best burgers I have ever eaten.

Crispy edges, incredible flavor, maple bacon...

It checked every box.

And honestly, the burger was only part of what made this stop special.

We flew in, grabbed some great food, spent some time together, and got to meet the guy behind the burgers.

For Dillon to hear about our little cheeseburger flight and then go out of his way to make something special for us...

That's the kind of hospitality you remember. Huge Shout out to Grazing Guse for his awesome recommendations!"
