After a little testing (and a few notes for round two ๐Ÿ˜‰), new kolache flavors are ready for their Honeyed Petal debut.

๐Ÿ‘ Peach Vanilla Bean Cream Cheese Kolache โ€” soft, pillowy dough filled with vanilla bean cream cheese and peach, finished with cinnamon crumble.

โค๏ธ Raspberry Chocolate Kolache โ€” bright raspberry fruit filling finished with a buttery Dutch cocoa crumble.

Todayโ€™s Bakehouse Drop holds a little of everything I love about this turn toward Fallโ€”something familiar, something berry-filled, and something warm with maple and pecans.

One of todayโ€™s bakes also came with a little identity question.

Iโ€™ve hesitated to call it a kolache because my husband, Greg, comes from a deeply rooted Czech-American familyโ€”and he has very specific ideas about what a kolache is and is not. But when I finally asked for his verdict, his answer was simple: yes, this is absolutely a kolache. ๐Ÿ˜„

So, meet the Blueberry Cream Cheese Crumble Kolache: soft, pillowy yeasted dough layered with cream cheese and blueberry filling, then finished with a buttery crumble.

Join me Saturday, September 19, from 2:00โ€“3:30 p.m. at Come To The Table for an intimate afternoon exploring the natural relationship between coffee and chocolate.
