Sushi cake and cookies for a birthday! I wasnt to happy with the cookies but I did made the cookies and cake the night before and stayed up all night to get these done.
Cake was vanilla with strawberry compote filling with vanilla swiss buttercream. Homeade marshmallow fondant and coconut flakes to look like rice on the top of cake. The sushi on the bottom of the cake is rice crispies with fondant and royal icing to look like rice.

Cookies were sugar cookies with vanilla royal icing.

I cant wait to try this theme again when I have more time to work on it.

A birthday cake I made
Chocolate cake with dark chocolate ganache for the filling, and pink vanilla buttercream! The frosting was so fluffy and tasted like ice cream!

I did this 2 tier cake, I was nervous working with pink and black, I am a fondant person, but I thank Michael Brought Plenty for challenging me with all buttercream designs! LOL!
