Death Cafe Twin Cities

Death Cafe Twin Cities Ever think about what happens when you die? Ever wonder about mortality? How do you want to be buried? Or remembered?

Join us monthly for organic conversations around death, dying, life, and living. Death Cafe is a not-for-profit social franchise and international movement to "increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives." Gatherings are held in a variety of event spaces and aims to incorporate guest artists, speakers and activities. We offer conversations about

death
• With no intention of leading participants to any particular
conclusion, product or course of action
• As an open, respectful and confidential space free of
discrimination where people can express their views safely
• On a not for profit basis, though to be sustainable we may cover expenses through donations and fundraising
• Alongside refreshing drinks and nourishing food

About North Star Paranormal Research:
North Star Paranormal Research is a Twin Cities–based group rooted in curiosity, respect, and a deep commitment to uncovering the unseen. Operating out of Minneapolis and St. Paul, they serve as a guiding light—much like Polaris, the North Star—steadfast in their mission to explore the paranormal while preserving the rich histories tied to each location they investigate.

Their work orbits around three core principles: research, historical preservation, and storytelling. Every case is approached like mapping a constellation—carefully connecting fragments of evidence, personal accounts, and historical records to form a clearer picture of what lingers beyond the veil. They believe that the past is never truly lost, only waiting to be rediscovered, like distant starlight still reaching us across time.

Through thoughtful storytelling, North Star Paranormal Research ensures that these echoes are not forgotten, giving voice to places and people whose stories deserve to shine. Central to their mission is “para unity,” a belief in bringing together investigators, historians, skeptics, and believers alike—like stars aligning in a shared sky—creating a stronger, more respectful paranormal community.

Hello! Sorry about the confusion last night on location! Thank you for all who showed up to Lakewood Cemetery. It turned out to be a perfect night.

In the future, we will check the policies of each cemetery, given that the bulk of them leave their doors open sun up to sun down, but a few are choosing to lock their gates entirely.

Reminder that next month we will resume NE Death Cafe Rogue buddha Gallery. Details to come as this will be an RSVP Death Cafe due to a podcast being filmed. Stay Tuned!

As always, we try to stick with the last Sunday of every month for consistency (Sept. 28 for instance). More details to come!
