FROM THE ASHES… WE’RE BUILDING AGAIN

Less than two weeks ago, we stood looking at what was left of our food truck and honestly had no idea what came next.

That truck wasn’t just a trailer and some equipment. It was our livelihood. It was long nights, early mornings, missed weekends, prayers, sacrifices, and a dream we had poured everything into.

And then, in a matter of minutes, it was gone.

BUT GOD!

Today, we can finally say it…

Faithful Flames has a new-to-us food truck. 😭

We still can’t fully wrap our heads around how quickly God has moved through all of this. In the middle of one of the hardest weeks we’ve had, He has reminded us over and over that we are not walking through this alone.

This truck would not be sitting here without YOU.

Every donation. Every shirt purchased. Every meal bought. Every event that has welcomed us with our smoker. Every business that has stepped up. Every share. Every message. Every hug. And every single prayer.

You have helped make this possible, and “thank you” will never feel big enough.

We also want to be transparent — buying the truck does not mean we are back on our feet yet. We have taken on more debt to make this happen, there is still equipment to purchase, work to be done to get the truck ready, and insurance has yet to make any real movement. We still have a long road ahead of us.

BUT now we have something we didn’t have a week ago:

a way forward.

Faithful Flames was built on faith, and maybe we’re learning that sometimes faith looks like standing in the ashes and choosing to build again anyway.

We don’t know exactly what the next few weeks will look like, but we know Who has carried us this far.

The fire may have taken our truck.

It did not take our faith.
It did not take our dream.
And it definitely did not take Faithful Flames.

So here she is — the beginning of our comeback. ❤️‍🔥

We’re so thankful to Bens Backdraft Barbecue for allowing this truck to become the next chapter of Faithful Flames BBQ. We hope we can honor the miles and memories already behind it while creating plenty of our own!

Thank all of you for believing in us, praying for us, encouraging us, fundraising for us, donating to us, and reminding us exactly what community looks like.

We’re coming back. One prayer, one piece, and one flame at a time. 🔥✝️

Sideways Farm and Brewery Y’ALL SHOWED UP!

What an AMAZING day at Sideways Brewery! ❤️‍🔥

We came into today feeling so incredibly grateful just to be back at one of the places that supported Faithful Flames from the very beginning… and once again, this community completely blew us away.

WE SOLD OUT OF EVERYTHING except pulled chicken! 🤯

After everything the last couple of weeks have held for us, days like today mean more than we could ever put into words.

A huge THANK YOU to Sideways Brewery for not only having us out today, but for donating a portion of their proceeds toward helping us rebuild Faithful Flames. The fact that one of our very first stops when we started this journey is now helping us get back on our feet after losing our truck feels like such a full-circle moment. 🥹❤️

And to every single one of YOU who came hungry today — THANK YOU. You didn’t just buy BBQ. You helped us take another step toward getting Faithful Flames back on the road. 🔥

We may have sold out of almost everything today… but we will never run out of gratitude for this community.

God is SO good, and today was another reminder that He is still writing this story. 🙏🏼✝️

TODAY SIDEWAYS BREWERY!

Come spend your Saturday with us at Sideways Brewery from 12–8 PM! 🍻

This one is extra special for us. ❤️‍🔥 Sideways was one of the very first places to welcome Faithful Flames when we were just starting out. Back then, we were simply trying to build this little dream God had placed on our hearts, one event and one plate of BBQ at a time.

Now, in a season where we’re having to rebuild that dream, they’re showing up for us all over again. 🥹

From 12–3 PM, Sideways Brewery will be donating a portion of their proceeds to help us rebuild Faithful Flames BBQ after losing our food truck.

There’s something incredibly full-circle about returning to one of the places that helped us get started while we’re working toward starting again. ✝️

The love that has been poured into our family and our business since the fire has been overwhelming in the best way. Every meal bought, every drink poured, every prayer, share, donation, and encouraging word is helping us get one step closer to getting Faithful Flames back on the road.

Man. What a week can do.

God created the heavens and the earth in six days, and on the seventh day He rested.

And while our story doesn’t compare to Creation, this past week has reminded us just how much God can do in seven days.

A week ago, we watched something we had worked so hard for go up in flames. We were heartbroken, overwhelmed, and had absolutely no idea what was next.

And now, just a week later, we’re standing here with hope, opportunities, and some pretty BIG plans for what’s coming next. 🔥

That doesn’t happen without God—and it certainly doesn’t happen without the people He placed around us.

Every prayer. Every donation. Every share. Every message. Every person who showed up, encouraged us, bought food from us, helped us, or simply reminded us to keep the faith—you have helped make what’s coming possible.

We can’t tell you everything just yet..
But please keep praying for us. Pray that God continues to guide every decision, opens the right doors, closes the wrong ones, and reminds us that His plans will always be greater than ours.

It’s amazing what can happen in a week and we are joyfully expectant for what’s next!

This is Kealey. 🤍 I’m the one behind our page—the one making the posts, sharing the updates, responding to comments and messages, and keeping everyone updated on this crazy journey of ours. And tonight, I wanted to share something a little more personal.

Today has been heavy.

I’ve been overwhelmed. I’ve let everything going on get the best of me, and I’ve found myself short-fused, frustrated, emotional, and honestly just exhausted.

The last week has been a whirlwind. There have been so many emotions—grief over what we lost, gratitude for the way people have shown up for us, excitement about what could be next, and stress over everything that still has to happen. Today, it all seemed to catch up with me.

And I’m sharing this because I think sometimes we’re quick to share the moments where our faith feels strong, but not the moments where we’re struggling to hold it together.

Today, I struggled.

I had to remind myself that being faithful doesn’t mean I won’t get overwhelmed. It doesn’t mean I won’t have moments where I’m frustrated or scared or wondering how in the world we’re going to get everything done. It means that even in those moments, I can bring it all back to God.

Tonight I’m choosing to lay down the frustration, the pressure, the “what ifs,” and the need to have everything figured out right now.

God has already shown us over and over again this past week that He is working—even when we can’t see the whole picture yet.

So tonight, I’m reminding myself:

“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10 🤍

Tomorrow is a new day. His mercies are new every morning. And even on the overwhelming days, we’re still choosing faith.

Today left us completely speechless. ❤️‍🔥

We knew we had people in our corner, but we could have never imagined the amount of love and support that showed up for us today. You came out, you stood in line, you hugged us, encouraged us, told us you were praying for us, donated to us, and reminded us exactly why Faithful Flames means so much more than just BBQ.

We ran out of meat by 2 PM. 😭 And somehow, after everything we’ve been through this week, that felt like the biggest blessing. We hurried to restock and kept serving because YOU kept showing up.

There really aren’t enough words to explain what today meant to our family. In one of the hardest moments we’ve faced, our community surrounded us in a way we will never forget.

Faithful Flames may have been tested by fire, but today we were reminded that God has surrounded us with an army of people willing to walk through it with us.

To every single person who bought a plate, waited patiently, donated, shared our story, prayed for us, encouraged us, or simply stopped by to show some love — thank you. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

We thought today was about serving BBQ.
Instead, you served us a reminder that God provides — sometimes through the hands and hearts of the people around you. ❤️‍🔥✝️

We will never forget today.

Still faithful. Still standing. And more grateful than ever.
