This is my last month at the store. The bakery will continue in some capacity but I cannot say when or how as I continue to take time to recover. The holidays brings many of you to the store and I have fond memories of animated conversations while people wait in line to pick up their orders such as witnessing an upsell of my products, a friendly gesture by someone giving up the last of an item or even giving their order to someone else, and someone telling a dismayed newbie how things work by saying, oh, she’s got more in the back – ask her what she’s got in the back.
I feel privileged to play a part in your intimate holiday gatherings with friends and family when there are other options available to you. I know who’s going to order the country style biscuits, who’s going to get dozens of dinner rolls, or which particular pie or cake someone will choose and it puts a smile on my face as I nod when you do. October is closer to November and further away from December, but our products freeze well so given the uncertainties and in response to your inquiries about being able to order for Thanksgiving and Christmas, I’m making that possible this month. You’ll also have more flexibility with pick-up by making it available every week of October. I hope this is helpful in managing your seasonal activities while fueling you with the holiday sentimentalities of planning and I’m looking forward to being able to fulfill these for you.
As a reminder, there’s no in-store shopping, so please order ahead for pickup, delivery, or shipping. To make your purchase in person, please send us a message.
Thank you.
