Sweet Peas! I like to start my sweet peas around Valentine’s ❤️ Day. In the early fall, I would just directly sow into the ground, but these seeds I will start in root trainers. Mice would find sweet pea seeds a real treat in the winter. I can’t wait to see them blooming in rainbow 🌈 order.

Our top nine posts of 2020. Enjoying the last few days of this year, as most gardeners/growers do, resting and pouring over the new seed catalogues. Here, here to 2021!

Wishing everyone a holiday season filled with joy, peace and love. Thank you to everyone who supported us during our first year of flower farming. We did not have “pandemic”in our business plan! Despite all the bumps, we saw goodness and joy in the flowers we grew and in the customers who enjoyed them. Homeschooling four kiddos while farming flowers was a juggle, but the blessing was they learned so much in the field with us. They prefer the outdoor classroom and flower farming is filled with math and science! We look forward to 2021 and have already tucked cool flowers in for the winter. We hope you will continue with us into the new year on our flower farming journey!

It’s a beautiful fall day! My littles took a break from online learning to chase and catch the falling leaves from our stand of walnut trees. I love to hear their laughter. During our school break, I was in the flower field sowing cool flower seeds and harvesting these dahlia blooms.

In the field all day, pulling spent zinnias through netting. This is my reward, Break Out, Big Brother and Cafe au lait. Big blooms have returned since the short frost we got a couple weeks ago.
