Love is all 365 days of our life; we express it every day in different ways.

I always like to do my tables unexpectedly; it depends on my mood or if the invocation of my muse responds. In the past three weeks, I was very stressed and trying to cope with it. As usual, I do not attract any negativity, which I have thankfully learned from my hubby. He always teaches me to be kinder to myself. Besides that, I'm grateful to be the mother of two teens; my husband is my greatest blessing, our dog Milo is pure love, my mom is my hero, and my friends; you know who you are.

For my Valentine's tablescape, I chose to include a very chic gift I received from a dear friend ; from Annisa Kermiche Jug Jug Blue, a bust embracing the body's beauty; maybe my teens were batch full. I always love to embrace details and continuing my muse artsier by including Punctilious Mr. P's Place Card Co. place cards, engraved, which is a work of art to our dinner table. Besides that, yes, I cooked truffle pasta with salmon caviar.!Love, VMStyle

Happy Chinese Lunar Year 2021 is the year of the Ox!

The traditional red is one of the essential colors representing happiness, good luck, success, and fortune in champagne flutes from Mario Luca Giusti, candles from MoMA Design Store, and elegant envelopes stuffed with money Creed. The pagoda tablecloth with different blue tones brings a positive meaning, trust, and long life from Shop my fabrics and I matched with Kim Seybert beautiful napkin rings hummingbird, the green is the color of wealth, hope, and growth. The lemons symbolize abundance, prosperity, and good luck in a William Sonoma bowl and the yellow petite candy bowl with the fortune cookies from Alexandra von Furstenberg. The china from Vista Alegre, Sol y Sombra by Christian Lacroix, and chargers from Crate and Barrel. Gold is a rich and noble color at the Ox shape brass chopstick holder and candle holders from West Elm. Water Goblet from Baccarat.

Late post!  
Saying goodbye to 2020 and welcoming the New Year with new hopes and dreams.  We decide to spend the evening at our home with the kids.  I chose to continue our New Years traditions of eating twelve grapes for good luck, "las doce
uvas de la buena suerte"; the tradition is from Spain by where when the clock begins to chime at midnight,
one eats the grapes, symbolizing the twelve coming months of prosperity.  We also ate a lentil soup for the first time, as the Italians do for wealth and prosperity; lentils resemble Roman coins.  

Our New Years' tablescape was different, as I prefer to do a buffet with simple fun decorations of soothing colors.  I mixed vintage pieces from my grandmother along with beautiful and avant-garde Swid Powell china for Calvin Klein, as to start a New Year with a clean slate. And of course, last but never least French bubbles, which are always an important part of a celebration.

This Christmas has been challenging for all of us, but we have much to be grateful for.  Lots of love and thought went into this years tablescape.  The two essential elements that I used to decorate are the Greek key, a symbol of union and love, and the protagonist of the table, the Nutcrackers, representing power and strength guarding our family.  You can enjoy the vivid red, representing our love along with the black, which added formality, sophistication and power and last but not least a dash of gold celebrating the magic spirit of Christmas.
I hope you enjoy our Christmas table made with a lot of love and encouragement from my dearest friends that are very important in my life.  Merry Christmas!🎄🎁❤️

The kids and I plan to set a sophisticated tablescape for the pre-birthday celebration to the man of the house. We decided to bring a little bit of nature with pine branches since we are in the holiday season. I hope you enjoy our unconventional table setting!
