So many of you ask me if I’ll ever open another taco shop, and the answer is… no.

Not because I don’t love it. Trust me, I do.

But somewhere along the way, I realized I was spending more time married to the taco shop than I was to my actual life. I have babies who still need their mama, a husband who deserves my time, and a family that means everything to me.

Feeding people brings me so much joy, but I don’t want to do it 24 hours a day anymore. I want the freedom to grab dinner with my best friend, support other small businesses, make memories with my family, and come home to my beautifully chaotic, hot-mess house.

I still love cooking for you all. I still love catering your events, creating sweet treats, and being part of your special moments. But these days, I’ve learned that loving what you do doesn’t mean it has to consume your entire life.

So while there won’t be another taco shop, you’ll still find me doing what I love—just in a way that leaves room for the people I love most.

And honestly? That feels pretty perfect. 🩷

People don’t just support Salt & Sugar because of the pink tacos, the sweets, or the crazy lemonade flavors… they support us because of us. 💖🌮✨

Y’all get the chaos, the glitter, the late nights, the passion, the cuss words sprinkled between “made with love,” and every crazy idea we bring to life. 😂

Sure, good food matters. But people stay because they connect with the heart behind it all. They wanna support real people, real stories, real dreams. That’s why I’ll never stop showing up as ME — loud, creative, messy, passionate, and probably covered in frosting or taco grease. 🤣

Don’t be afraid to show your personality online. Post the behind-the-scenes. Talk to your people. Let them see the magic AND the madness. That connection matters more than you think.

At the end of the day, there are a million places to eat… but nobody can be YOU. 🩷✨
