The dust has settled and on to the next , the team rolled into Atoka this weekend with some confidence. Local cooks are always fun , you get to see your friends , compete against them and try and throw down your best. Our team threw down , perfect score in prelims , 2nd place pulled pork , 3rd overall. Finals were a tough group to compete against especially when it is some of the best in the game! Congrats to Woods Custom Cookers , the OG , on the Grand! Congrats to all those who heard their name , it was a hell of a weekend! Thank you to all of those who support us , help us , and are always there cheering us on , you know who you are! A little late on this one but it was a long week after competing in our first MBN of the year in Tylertown MS. We were lucky enough to come away with a 2nd place Pulled Pork and an 8th place rib. The smoke has cleared , the ash is settled and we had a great end to the season. We left Bolivar with at 1st PULL pork , iykyk, and an 8th place rib. The team put in a lot of work this season to get there and accomplished goals we set for ourselves. Saying that we couldn’t have done that with out the support of our friends , family’s , mentors and everyone who knows how much goes into this crazy sport we love.
