It is very important to maintain great communication, great understanding, and great customer service when running a business. Some folks are in it just for the sake of money. V's Catering makes sure that you're getting your money's worth, very authentic and delicious food. Good Morning..To eliminate further misunderstandings... When inquiring about catering, please keep in mind that:

1. Drop off service (usually the cheaper choice) is where the caterer drops the food off, cooked and ready to serve. However, the client is responsible for setting up the buffet. The caterer is only responsible for placing food in a designated area. A delivery fee may be added.

2. Full service is where the caterer handles all aspects of the event, from menu planning to food table decorations, supplying equipment and setting up the buffet, having an appropriate number of servers based on the size of the event, and cleaning at the end of the event. This pricing starts at $175, depending on the size of your guest list.

3. If inquiring about a price for a “pan”, be aware that it should not exceed more than 5 pans of any combination. If more than 5 pans are needed, consider drop off catering.

4. Once a party size exceeds 20 people, it will need to be booked as a drop off or full service catering job, and I will charge per person.

5. Stating your budget is a great way to start. If your budget doesn’t align with my pricing, it could save us time and misunderstandings. Your budget will determine what kind of menu to plan.

6. Please be on time for your event. I give my employees a time to be there to pick up, and if you’re late to your own event, you will be responsible for breaking everything down and returning everything to me. For instance, when you book your event and say we’re eating at 5, we should be done at 6:30, and you can pick up at 6:45—that’s what I expect. Starting at a later time incurs more money and time for my employees. It’s the same with serving; we don’t stay to serve all day. For instance, when you book for 100 guests and the serving time is at 6, I expect whoever is coordinating the party to have the tables numbered or whatever and have at least four tables in line by 5 minutes till serving time. We serve only what’s on the contract for the first round, and we leave. We are only responsible for cleaning our area.
