"Excuse me, is there a special event or something today?" Why yes... it's BEACH DAY in the cafeteria!! Don't worry - the lifeguards were on duty. We hope your kids had fun and enjoyed the local fish sticks & slaw and, of course, the fresh, juicy watermelon.

Every day is an adventure! Started it off bright & early at the Boston fish pier picking up haddock fish sticks from Red's Best Boston for next week's 'Beach Day' themed lunch. Ended it giving the MHS garden a glow up as part of the school's annual Fells Day activities. Many thanks to a handful of volunteers from the MHS football team, who moved 3 cubic yards of mulch in record time - the garden is looking mighty fine!

Happy Cinco de Mayo! Today's lunch was inspired by Mexican cuisine: Chicken tamales with tortilla chips, fiesta bean dip, guacamole, and our own mango salsa made with MHS garden-grown green onions & cilantro!

Friday was School Lunch Hero Day, and between special treats and notes from the students, we were definitely feeling the love.

We hosted our 2nd annual School Lunch Hero Day 'Guest Server' event. It's so fun for the kids to see familiar faces in an unfamiliar spot -- serving them lunch! Thank you to all of the Principals, Administrators, School Committee members, and Mayor Breanna Lungo-Koehn who participated. Whether you prepped, served, or came by to say hello, we appreciate you sharing in this fun day with us.

March menus are here! We're excited about trying out Mac & Cheese bites and Chicken Tinga Nachos this month. And, based on student feedback, Brazilian Cheese Bread returns 🇧🇷

**Roberts families, please note that 3/3 is an early release day for the Roberts School only. We will be providing breakfast as usual, and lunch will be a Super Snack Pack with Fritos, Sunflower Seeds, Crunchy Chickpeas, and Apple juice box.**
