A perfect summer day, and Sandbar Sweets isn’t cruising the lake? I can’t believe it either!

But I promise, I’ve got a really good reason for taking the day off. We’ll be back next weekend, fully stocked with frosty treats and ready to chase down all your ice cream cravings.

Well…yesterday was a little bananas! 🍌

🍦We had an absolute blast and came way too close to the unthinkable…running out of ice cream!

A huge thank you to Derek for treating all the kiddos to ice cream in honor of your parents, Barb and Dean. Seeing all those smiling faces was the best part of the day, and so many families shared how much they appreciated your kindness. It made a great day even sweeter.

Today, Sandbar Sweets is officially closed for a very important reason: my family claimed me before you all could. 😉 So I’ll be spending the day making memories with them instead of cruising the lake.

Have an amazing Sunday! Be safe on the water, wave at strangers like you’ve known them forever (it’s Big Sandy, after all), and if you’re heading home after the holiday weekend, drive safe. We’ll be back serving up frozen happiness next weekend-with another special surprise!🍦🚤☀️

One of our amazing lake friends, Derek, is honoring the memory of his parents, Barb and Dean Anderson, by treating the kiddos in boats to FREE ice cream today!

So when you see the pink-and-yellow ice cream boat cruising by, don’t be shy—wave us over! This sweet surprise will last for a couple of hours, or until Derek says we’ve created enough sticky fingers and happy smiles. 😄

⚓️ From 12:00–2:00 PM, we’ll be anchored in Davis Bay, and during that time kids get a FREE ice cream! 🍦🎉

Since I don’t have a boat crew today, I’m going to stay docked and avoid wrestling with this wind. But don’t worry—the Sandbar Sweets boat is fully stocked with all your favorite treats! 🍦

If you're craving something sweet, cruise on over to the dock, give a honk, ring your bell, or wave me down, and I’ll come out and serve you!
