The biggest question I'm getting is....Now what are you going to do?

Well, first of all I need to chill a bit, this disease is no joke. I cannot do everything that I used to do, working doubles is coming to an end.

I cannot give up my passion for making food. I am grateful for Christina & Jason, offering me a job doing what I love to do...I will be working part time at The Garlic Knot starting Saturday, Sept. 19...I'll be cooking breakfast on Saturday and Sunday mornings 8-11 am. Come and enjoy your breakfast with us! I will also be whipping up desserts...you can pre-order pies, cakes, cookies just as you did at The Grill. Stop in and enjoy yummy pies and cakes, also grab some cookies and treats for the road. Cookie trays will also be available to pre-order.

CCs Smellies will be back online and will be traveling to a few shows in the future with some help from family and friends.

With a very heavy heart, I am making this public announcement:
I will be officially CLOSING the doors at “The 522 Grill” on Saturday, September 12, 2026.

The building and property are for sale. This property is not zoned, and it does not have to be a restaurant. Looking for a business opportunity or a personal option? Contact Jewel Palmer at 717-377-2940.

Some of you know and others may not…I was recently diagnosed with a disease that has no cure nor treatment. I cannot continue doing everything that I do, doctors’ orders. That is why I need to close, this has been one of the hardest decisions of my life.

I will continue to have our regular menu. Menu items will be discontinued as they sell out.

I would like to thank all of my loyal customers for being part of my journey! With this chapter of my life coming to an end, I will cherish the memories. I am deeply grateful to each and every one of you. I will miss you all very much! I am sure that you will find me somewhere in the near future.

I would like to thank my employees who have stuck by my side! You are the best crew! I will miss you all! Our journey here is coming to an end, but I know you all will continue doing great things! Good luck in your future endeavors!
