It is with deep sadness and a very heavy heart that I am having to share that Matt Grier has passed away. He was such a huge part of our Rack’em family and he will be greatly missed. Matt unfortunately lost his father last year and he was the sole caregiver for his mother who has debilitating health issues. I am hoping we can all come together and collect money for funeral expenses and support for his ailing mother. We will have a donation bag at Rack’em or you can reach out to me personally to donate. I plan on having a Celebration of Life in Matt’s honor at Rack’em. Date and time to be determined. As always, I appreciate everyone’s love support!

Unfortunately due to multiple positive cases in and around Rack’em peeps we will be postponing the fundraiser for Jason Perry and we will be closed Friday, Sat and Sunday. So sorry for any inconvenience...look forward to seeing everyone happy and healthy next week!

Please join us in supporting the Swafford family, who unfortunately lost Dennis and his wife, Susan, in a house fire. Dennis was an APA member and avid pool player. He played for many years out of Rackem as well as other local pool halls. Please help us in raising money to support funeral expenses and other related costs due to this tragic loss. Hope to see everyone there!!!

I cannot thank everyone enough who came out to support Ali, Rafi, Sammie, Josh and Amanda yesterday. We had a record breaking 79 scotch doubles teams and raised $12,600!!! I wish I had room to thank each and every individual who donated but there honestly isn't enough room! I would like to thank Eddie Manshack, Pam Decker and Rhonda Hull who hit the pavement hard collecting donations for raffle items and Carolina Masonry and Concrete for their donation. Also, Bonefish Grill and Carolina Premium Beverage (Miller Lite) for their many generous items donated for the raffle. I'd also like to thank Sara Page, Aja Thompson and Kiley Bohanon for raising over $1100 in bracelet sales. A special thanks to Dave Petranik who runs a flawless tourney and Greg Frye for all of his help! Last but not least I have to brag on my staff who worked double shifts and ran their asses off (Bobby Messenger, Dwayne Thompson, Marshall Sullivan) as well as Mario, Bull, Oscar Gonzalez, Yariseth, Mary, Catalina, Abi and Maribel. The Rack'em family love and support never ceases to amaze me!!!🤗🤗🤗

I'm sure most everyone is aware of the devastating accident that took the life of Ali's daughter, Lyla and has left Rafia's daughter, Riley fighting for her life. Rack'em is planning on holding a scotch doubles fundraiser on Sat July 22nd. We make most of our money off of raffle sales so anyone who has or can collect items for the raffle is greatly appreciated. The tragedy that this family is going through is unimaginable so medical and funeral expenses should not be their concern. Thanks for your help in advance and details of the tourney will follow.
