Free Mahjong 101 Class Nov 12th‼️
Come and join us on Thursday, Nov.12th from 11:30am–1:30pm at Sonder Brewing Mason for a beginner Mahjong lesson that's designed to have you well on your way to your first Mahj! You'll have some extra time to play, as well, until 2:00 if you'd like.
🔹️SPOTS ARE VERY LIMITED so get yours before they're all gone!🔹️
This is a Free class, but you will need to Venmo $10 to hold your spot‼️You will get your $10 back when you show up for class‼️We've unfortunately had too many no shows and it makes it a little more difficult to play and teach NMJL rules without 4 people to a table, and have to set up tables with no one in them, so this should ensure that people show 🙂 Thanks for understanding and you'll be happier, too, if you have 4 people at your table!
🎟My Venmo is below and once you've reserved your spot with your $10 to hold it, please let me know if you will need to purchase an NMJL card from one of my friends locally.🎟
https://venmo.com/code?user_id=2666973448110080160&created=1791295311
(Please put Mahj 101 in the Venmo transaction reason)
🔸️Refunds offered through Nov 10th, but no exception refunds will be offered after that date to allow others to sign up that want to. You can transfer to a friend if you want though.
‼️🀄‼️ An NMJL 2026 Card is REQUIRED in order to play American Mahjong and take this class‼️ (I can direct you to a couple of people that are selling them locally for cost at $15) You can also order your own on the NMJL website: $15 for a large card www.nationalmahjonggleague.org, but order it early as it can take a while to get them.
An amazing light-filled space with a relaxed, fun atmosphere, Sonder Brewing will be the best class setting you've ever been in!
