We’ve Been holding this information since our return from Miami and we know all of the Lord Of The Wings fans have a lot of questions about our absence but we are finally ready to announce our Grand Opening of our BRAND NÉW Ho**ah Bar along with the change of the 618 Lord Of The Wings location! 🥳
We will be located near SI Bowl making us very easy access for our large Carbondale/Marion/Carterville following! ✔️

Our location will be having Exotic Flavored Ho**ahs 😶‍🌫️, a Mechanical Bull 🐂, Inflatable Cash Cube 💲, LARGE candy decorated drinks 🍭 and margaritas 🍹 and Ofcourse our famous Lord Of The Wings Menu that everyone misses so much!!! 😋🔥

We’re very excited to give the 618 an entertaining location to enjoy! Especially since the recent news of LEVELS and STIX not returning! (We will all miss the memories made) 💔 Thank you Greg Knoob for giving us wonderful years of entertainment! Carbondale made a mistake by losing you and your attractions!

Hello 618 community, we truly wanted to hold this information until it was official but we took a business trip this passed week to Miami to meet with investors as we are looking at expanding the LOTW Bar & Grill to Florida! (Reason being that Sierra is originally from Florida and i would love to fulfill that dream for her!)

We love our loyal customers back here at HOME who are the absolute reason this is becoming possible for our family owned local business so we felt everyone deserved to know why we were closed for this week! We both went to school here in Marion since 2009 which is why we chose Marion as our location over any other surrounding areas! ♥️
We have ALOT of brand new things being added and updated daily to our brand new restaurant so please forgive us for any inconsistency in our business hours and weekly schedules! Sierra and I are YOUNG and ambitious entrepreneurs and much of this experience is a learning curve for the both of us but we just want to assure you that we are making great progress and you all don’t have to worry about losing our location as one of your favorite places to eat. We’re here to stay and will continue to provide as much entertainment to our customers as we are capable of providing!

Thank you to EVERYONE for your patience throughout this process these last few months of us building the brand and sticking with us through the few pauses in business that we have taken! Hello and good afternoon to the 618 community! We’ve had SO MANY people explain how much they really enjoy the new concept here at LOTW but it has come to my knowledge that some people are still not aware of what type of atmosphere we offer. So to further add description and detail we would like to note that we are not a corporate or a franchised restaurant but locally and family owned. Here at LOTW we lean more towards having a Bar atmosphere, great music, and all sorts of entertainment like board/card games to be enjoyed while you have drinks and wait for your freshly cooked soul food meal which sometimes takes longer (30 min-45 min) since we never cook anything ahead of time. 618 LOTW is not your average eating experience. We offer a GLOW IN THE DARK vibe with seating sections that have your very own personally installed LED lamps for additional lighting once it’s time to enjoy your delicious meal! 😋 We understand we are a smaller area in Illinois and the idea of change to such a place can sometimes be a bit scary or even come off as weird to some of our many visitors who would rather eat at a normal location with the much more simple and normal decor. Here we would like to pride ourselves in being somewhere “different” you can experience once you have grown a bit tired of the same restaurants and food choices we are offered here in Marion IL. We’ve had really great reviews but we’ve also received respectful constructive criticism about our service being slower which we do understand and is to be expected due to still moving through the hiring process. Our soda machines will now be moved to the front of house along with all sauce bottles and condiments becoming available from a self service station. We feel as if this would make it a much easier experience for our customers. Need a little something extra? No worries! We will still have a few Angels flying around to assist you with anything that may not be in your reach! We strive to make our customers as happy as possible and take everyone’s experience very seriously! We just want to bring a new generation atmosphere where you can feel like you were able to escape from the outside world.. even if only for the moment! With all being said our location is kid friendly and family oriented and to further summarize we are a creative themed BAR and grill that offers high quality soul food as a plus! We strongly encourage anyone who would like to enjoy 618 LOTW to come by and check us out!

We will be accepting anyone interested in booking our Bar and Grill for events to give us a call. We allow birthday parties, weddings, and many more events. With that being said we will now be taking reservations in order to dine in with LOTW.
This will insure no one is waiting too long to be seated as we only offer about 10-12 tables.

Friday and Saturday 3pm-11pm.

Yesterday’s Reopening was a SUCCESS! We received an overwhelming amount of support! Almost too much to handle! We thank everyone in the 618 community for the patience that we’ve been given as we still work out the small kinks of new employees and our first major dine in experience. True LOTW fans know that we originally started as a food truck and worked our way to a restaurant. We’ve enjoyed the learning process and are still improving daily! Our first day of Seafood was a success as well so if you haven’t tried it out tonight’s the last night until next Thursday- Saturday! 😋🦞 We’ve analyzed ALL reviews and we appreciate all the positivity and constructive critism received. We want everyone to know that your opinion matters here!
