Napoli meatballs over pasta with marinara.  Napoli meatballs are the perfect combination of sweet and savory. Each meatball has a golden raisin and two pine nuts in the middle and during cooking the raisin plumps up from the juices of the mixture of pork and beef. It’s like a tiny surprise when you bite into the meatball. Delish!

All the warm, spiced goodness of carrot cake tucked into a jar. Sweet carrots, a little pineapple and coconut, cozy spices, and that rich, dessert-like flavor that somehow works on toast, biscuits, cream cheese, or straight off the spoon.

It’s a little quirky, a lot delicious, and exactly the kind of thing Kimmie's Kitchen likes to put in a jar. ❤️

The ballcaps are in and look how cute they are?! I cannot recommend Thorn & Thread Apparel enough. Its owner Brittnye is amazing to work with and the quality of her embroidery is impeccable! And, she does the 3D puff embroidery which is exactly what I wanted. ♥️

After watching it rain for DAYS wondering if my entire fall garden was being relocated into Roger’s yard, I have babies. ♥️ There is just something about putting a tiny seed in the dirt and a few days later seeing LIFE come out of it that never gets old.

Now I need to try to remember what I planted where and to mark them.

Solid plan. Questionable ex*****on.

How it started: Mosquito incense strategically placed in the garden so I could peacefully plant my seeds without being eaten alive. Smart. Prepared. Basically a master gardener.

How it went: While digging a little seed trench with my fingers, I apparently forgot about the LIT incense stick and somehow cupped my hand around it. It stuck to my palm. While burning.

So tonight’s gardening lesson is that I can identify heirloom vegetables, plan a fall garden, and outsmart mosquitoes, but I absolutely cannot be trusted around a burning stick.

Chipotle adobo chicken nacho dip for dinner layered with beans, sour cream, shredded chicken, cheddar cheese, jalapeños, and green onions. Threw the cast iron in the air fryer and viola!
