This one might just be my new favorite.

Mario brought a couple home for the family to taste last night, and they disappeared almost immediately. It's warm, savory, fresh, and somehow still feels light.

✨ Turmeric, cumin, and herb-spiced chickpeas
🥬 Peppery arugula
🥒 Crisp cucumber
🧅 Red onion
🌿 House-made sun-dried tomato pesto (nut free)
🥪 Pressed until perfectly golden

When a community invests in each other, amazing things happen. 🧡

Last night we had the privilege of catering the BEFH Annual Membership Meeting & Pinning Ceremony, reconnecting with friends from last year's Commerce Uplift cohort and welcoming the newest entrepreneurs joining the BEFH family.

We were also incredibly honored to see Hungry Chickpea featured in this year's Impact Report. Looking back at how far we've come is humbling, and we're grateful for the people and programs that believed in us along the way.

BEFH has shown us what it means to build a true circle of community—one where support is given freely, celebrated often, and paid forward. We're proud to be part of that circle, and just as thankful for every opportunity to give back.

We're wrapping up the first week of our Summer Menu with grateful hearts.

Rainy days usually make you wonder what the week will bring, but you all showed up anyway.

You came in to try the Blueberry Breeze Salad, ordered the Prairie Power Bowl, debated your favorite deviled egg, dipped into Purple Reign Hummus, and welcomed back the Street Corn Salad like an old friend.

Every order, every familiar face, every "you have to try this" recommendation to a friend reminds us why we love doing what we do.

Creating a seasonal menu is one of our favorite parts of Hungry Chickpea. We spend weeks dreaming, testing, tasting, tweaking, and sometimes completely starting over until it feels just right.

Seeing you embrace it this week makes every bit of that work worthwhile.
