I wanted to share a little life update about Liddy’s Lattes. After a lot of thought and reevaluating, I’ve decided not to move forward with reopening the coffee trailer at this time. This whole process has been amazing, and I’m so grateful for it because I grew more through this experience than ever before.
There are many reasons I’ve decided to grow in a different direction. My purpose in starting Liddy’s Lattes was always rooted in my love for people, I wanted every interaction to feel unique and for everyone to feel special and cared for. I truly hope that came through. But along the way of building up this business, I’ve realized I’ve neglected some things that are very important to me and that bring purpose and meaning, and I’m excited to get back involved with those things again. I’m also unsure if Manchester can support yet another coffee spot at this time.
The exciting part is that I’ll be joining a new brick and mortar startup café and helping them grow, which I’m really looking forward to. Everything I learned while starting this business will carry into this new chapter, and I’m grateful to keep working in the coffee world in a different way.
I can’t say thank you enough to everyone who supported Liddy’s Lattes. Whether you grabbed a drink, shared a post, cheered me on, or became one of my amazing regulars, the friendships and encouragement I received meant more than you know. The messages, kindness, and support have truly meant so much… (sorry if I haven't had a chance to respond yet, the influx of messages has been very sweet, but a little overwhelming😅) thank you all!
This isn’t goodbye to Liddy’s Lattes, just a new direction. Who knows, maybe in a different season, it will return. Thank you for being a part of the journey.
