Good afternoon everyone,

This Monday at approximately 7:30 AM, we experienced an incident with one of our fryers that caused a small flare-up and produced some smoke. The Galesburg Fire Department responded quickly, and we are extremely grateful for their fast and professional assistance.

Thankfully, it was only a scare. One of our employees knew exactly how to handle the situation and acted appropriately, helping keep everything under control until emergency personnel arrived.

We understand there were many different rumors and interpretations circulating throughout the day, including reports that the restaurant had burned down. We want to assure everyone that this was not the case. There was no major damage, and we were able to open just a few hours later than usual.

Thank you to everyone who called, messaged, and checked on us. We truly appreciate your concern and support. We are doing well and are open for business during our regular hours.

Thank you again for your continued support!

Thank you so much for the amazing support on Mother’s Day!
We were incredibly busy and truly feel blessed by all of you who came out to celebrate with us.

We sincerely apologize to everyone who wasn’t able to get in — we completely sold out and had to close earlier than expected on Sunday. We also experienced internet and phone issues throughout the day, and we’re very sorry for any inconvenience that caused.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you, thank you for your continued support — it means everything to us! 💛
