To all our followers,

Due to unforeseen medical situations in our family, we are having to permanently close Wings of Wonder Avian Rescue in Mahomet, Illinois. As of February 2020 the rescue will have been operational for 20 years.

We want to thank all the volunteers throughout the years, the officers, and all of our followers for these almost 20 years.

Also many thanks to all the adoptees who have given our babies a permanent home.

We have met so many nice and caring people and friends throughout the years and will cherish each as a blessing.

The remaining birds that are in the Rescue will be relocating with us to Southeast Texas where there is snow only once in 10 to 20 years.

We wish everyone the best in the future and may God bless all.

Car gets warmed up, blankets between cars and buildings. These two have been with me (adopted) for many years now. Who on here has met these two in person? Laura

U of I vet med 2019 ck, end of active season for us. Got some great videos that will be posting soon. Got in the car to head home, daughter tells them to knock it off as everyone was talking and yelling. One answers ok , we got a good 2 minutes of quiet other than laughter heard from the birds and us. Then her bird starts singing baby bird, do do do (baby shark song changed to bird). Why do we never have a camera running at these times???
