I was so busy prepping on Thursday I forgot to post my Thankful Thursday!🤎🙏🫶

This past week, I’m thankful that now over 500 of you have decided I was worth the follow!🙌

To some, 500 may not be a lot, but if you were to stand in a room and speak publicly to 500 (or even 100!) that would totally feel like a TON!😄

Wanted to shout out a little “thank you🤎” to Lots Of Love Goodies , Mary’s son, Jase! He sat across from me at his mother’s tent today and made me this lovely necklace! It was a sweet surprise, and it certainly matches my brand and even says “SNOW”!❄️🤍 Such a thoughtful gesture! I love it!

I also enjoyed some post-market nourishment with my eggs, microgreens, and my sourdough toast with peanut butter and the mixed berry jam from Prairie View Farm Oakley, IL! 🫶

Finally, I grabbed a few things from Mercy Market!💚 I LOVE microgreens🌱 from The Little Farm Co. , oyster mushrooms🍄‍🟫 from Maxwell’s Mushroom Farm, and peaches from Sager Farms!🍑

Even though it was gloomy and ended up raining most of the time, you still showed up for me and the other vendors today🤎🤎🤎 That means so much!

Thank you for clearing me out by 10:30!! Even with the rain!☔️

As a baker, it honestly makes me nervous sometimes when the weather turns out of nowhere, because unlike some of my vendor friends, my product is perishable, and because I only use clean, high quality ingredients with no preservatives or other chemicals, it REALLY doesn’t last!

When the weather turns, and I get nervous I won’t sell, I put my 12-16 hour bakery days in the Lord’s hands, and give Him all the glory just for the opportunity to be there, and praise Him for how far He’s taken myself and my business!🙌🙏

He’s brought me so many wonderful customers, relationships, interactions, and experiences, and I’m thankful no matter the result!🤎 Although, I am truly beyond grateful for how you all have been showing up for me, week after week, even today in the rain🌧️ 💙

🙌Ended bake day earlier than I have been! (Yay!!)

❗️Come on out and enjoy the Decatur Central Park Farmers' Market 8am-12pm tomorrow!

Saturday mornings are for the market!🥯💐🍄‍🟫☀️🍞✨

Also, I got TWO new stainless steel stock pots for bagel boiling!!😄

If you didn’t know, before I bake my bagels, I boil them in a honey bath, and while my other pots worked ok, these are wider and better quality, so the bagels are now getting a better bath before they bake!🍯🫧

I had a lovely bake day preparing all of the bread you enjoy at your table with your friends and family🤎

I can’t wait to see you all tomorrow!❄️

Our summer help will be leaving soon for college so we’re looking for a front desk/sales associate! Will need to be available 2-3 days a week and some Saturdays starting in August.
