Thank you for an AMAZING sell-out day!

I baked over DOUBLE what I baked last weekend, and most of it was gone by 10am again today! A few things trickled away until an official sell-out right at noon!🙏

Thank you for your support, kind encouragement, and for sharing your love of my sourdough bread with others🤍 It’s helped me continue to grow and share more with the community!

It’s a JOY to bake bread with clean ingredients for all to enjoy and feel better eating!🙌 After all, that’s the mission!😉

I had a line before 8am even started😮, so sorry that I have no market photo for you today! You’ll have to enjoy some “befores”!

Farmers Market Season is Here! Our first Market of the season will be held on Wednesday, June 17, from 3:00–7:00 PM at the Michael D. Andreas Agriculture Building on the Richland Community College campus.

We are excited to welcome a great lineup of local vendors offering fresh produce, baked goods, plants, handmade products, and more. Vendors will be located both inside and outside the building, so we'll be open rain or shine.

Saturday couldn’t have been a more perfect day for the very first Decatur Central Park Farmers' Market !!!

It was beautiful outside☀️

It was so fun to see everyone again, visit, and enjoy serving both my sweet regulars from last year and many new faces this year as well!☺️

Thank you for supporting my first day back at the market, and clearing me out halfway through!😱

I WILL be baking MORE this weekend!🙌

The joy on your faces and the lovely interactions we have when you buy your bread is the reason I do this!🤎🤎🤎

❄️My goal is to bake bread with both the safest and cleanest ingredients, using the ancient natural fermentation process for the yeast and dough to deliver bread that’s delightful, easy on the gut, and nourishing!🙌

As we approach the longest day of the year, the egg production sure is ramping up! And, with a couple of week farmstand closure, we need to find homes for our eggs.

Grey House Goods and DOMAS Studio are looking for a creative storyteller to help capture and share the life of two growing businesses.

This position supports both companies and offers a unique variety of work. One day you may be photographing a new apparel collection at Grey House Goods. The next, you may be capturing a sold-out ceramics workshop, a summer camp, or a community event at DOMAS Studio.

Position Details

• 8–12 hours per week combined
• Independent contractor position
• $20–25 per hour
• Paid separately by each business, as Grey House Goods and DOMAS Studio are separate corporations
• Flexible schedule
• Primarily local/on-site with the ability to complete much of the work independently

Responsibilities

• Photography of products, classes, workshops, events, and behind-the-scenes moments
• Capture content during classes and community events when available
• Create and schedule social media posts
• Build awareness campaigns for classes, events, workshops, and product launches
• Create Instagram and Facebook Stories
• Create short-form video and Reels content
• Assist with content calendars and campaign planning
• Help communicate the mission, values, and personality of both businesses
• Create simple graphics and marketing materials as needed

Platforms

Both businesses primarily use Instagram and Facebook. Familiarity with creating content, scheduling posts, navigating platform trends, utilizing Stories and Reels, and understanding audience engagement on these platforms is highly preferred.

Equipment

• Use your own camera or phone
• Access to a Nikon D40 is available if desired
