Good Morning,

“But what’s the catch?” Sadly, that is a question we’ve heard quite a bit since starting Food With The Fellas.

We’ve highlighted more than 200 local eats across our YouTube Channel and here on Facebook, and we have NEVER charged a business to be featured. Truthfully, some businesses didn’t even know we were coming until after we had already visited and shared their story.

We also started doing “Pay It Forward” events as a simple way of saying THANK YOU to the people who have supported us and followed along on this journey. So far in 2026, with the help of others, we have been able to pay $6,000 forward back into our communities.

We share this because, honestly, it’s sad that we’ve gotten to a point where when someone wants to do something good, our first thought is that there must be a catch, an agenda, or an ulterior motive.

There isn’t.

As we continue planning our Pay It Forward Event in Baker County, we want people to know that there is no catch. We’re simply trying to show that actions really do speak louder than words. Kindness still matters. Community still matters. And people coming together to help one another is still possible.

Each morning leading up to the event, we’ll share an update. I’ll keep today’s short, but we have now surpassed $3,000 in value that will be given back to people at this event.

We are absolutely over the moon excited to be even a small part of what is becoming an incredible community event.

Baker County’s small businesses are showing up. And they are showing us what community is all about.
