Shiretown Gaming LLC won't be able to make it to this event this year, but Serpent's Edge will be there offering Ax and Knife throwing for adults and selling some beautiful goods. Don't miss dressing up in your best buccaneer outfit and having some fun.

We are having a big 4th of July Party for Shiretown Gaming LLC Club Members. Memberships are available on our website shiretowngaming.com! We will be having pulled pork and all the fixings, knife throwing and ax throwing as well as a campfire and some board game fun. Get your membership now and join us on the 4th.

Friends, we lost access to Shiretown Gaming LLC page. I tried to make an update and it completely logged me off and says I now no longer have access to this page. I reached out to Facebook and they said it could be 48 hours before they get back to me. Please let me know you have seen this message. Our current information is on our website shiretowngaming.com and I will post updates on Google as soon as I can.

Hello Beautiful Humans!

Today is the last day for The Shire Ale House, and the last full game day for Shiretown Gaming LLC. We will be packing things to go next week, so watch for the sign to come shop as we pack. Kids D&D starts at 11am and Teen D&D is at 1pm. The restaurant opens at 4pm with a full menu.

I have Ribeye Steak, Strip Steak, NY Shell Steak, and Chicken Kabobs for tonight. The Soup is Chicken and bell pepper with an Asian twist. When they are gone, they are gone!

If you love our sauces, I have some for sale at $8 a bottle. If you loved the 7 Deadly Sins Hot Oil we make, I have some of that ready to go too.

It will take us a few weeks to get adjusted and working on the new gaming space, so please follow us here on Facebook for updates on Shiretown Gaming LLC. We have loved having you all at our restaurant, and watching smiling faces as you enjoy the tasty noms. If you have a favorite memory to share of your time here at the Ale House, we would love to read it.

Hello friends,

This is a tough message for us to share. This will be our last week with the restaurant open. Life has taken twists, and continuing that portion of the business is just not possible for us any more. Food prices, as you are probably aware, continue to rise. The continual uptick in prices and people spending less has taken a toll. The last 3-4 months sales have been abysmal. Some days, with no sales at all. Yea.

Having our seating reduced by the State Fire Marshals office from 42 to 31, and; not being able to open the side room to patrons didn’t help, and the year+ long fight to make that happen has been exhausting and very expensive.

We have strived to bring you high quality foods and prices that were reasonable. Giant steaks, Schnitzel, Burgers, and more. We tried to provide unique experiences like our Murder Mystery dinner theater shows (hoping to find another location to keep these going), Live Music, providing games for the fair, assisting other businesses to get off the ground. Just trying to do our part.

However, Main Street can be mean street. It is extra tough right now. Sadly, we are the 3rd and 4th business that has announced that it is closing in the last few weeks in the Main Street/Market Square corridor.

We will update with game shop hours for the coming weeks as soon as we finalize a few more things. Starting today we will be offering Sales in the Game Shop.

Understand this isn’t the outcome we want. It’s just how it is. We are so thankful for all the many folks that came from near and far (some very far) to join us for food and fun. The smiles and laughter made some really great memories.

While we are still here in this space Dungeons and Dragons will continue, and we hope to have a new spot to play before we are totally out of this location. So today, the gameshop will be open from 3pm till 8pm and DnD will be happening.

Tomorrow, Thursday, we have a private event at 11am and the game shop and restaurant will be open at 3pm till 8pm.

Friday the restaurant and game shop will be open from 11am-8pm.

Saturday the game shop opens at 11am with kids DnD and then teens at 1pm, then the restaurant is open 3pm-8pm.

Sunday the restaurant and game shop will be closed for a private event, Blackbeard is getting married!!!!!

Thank you to everyone who stopped in today and for friends who jumped in at the last minute to lend a hand. Our entire team at Shiretown Gaming LLC and The Shire Ale House appreciates you all.

PS, a huge thank you to Jeff, our Master Chief for going out and bringing smiles around town. This event really was community wide and pretty great. Also that you to Farr & Associates Security for helping keep things organized, checking IDs and making sure kids were safe and reconnected with their parents. You guys are awesome.
