New Chapter for The Proper Pig 🐷🖤

When I took over The Proper Pig, it became so much more than a business. It helped provide for my family, created friendships I never expected, gave me purpose during difficult seasons, and allowed me to be part of some of the most important moments in people’s lives.

This business has been a blessing to me in ways I can’t fully put into words.

Because of that, I feel like it’s time to do the same for someone else.

After a lot of thought, and a lot of tears… I’ve decided to begin the process of passing The Proper Pig on to its next owner someone who can continue growing what we’ve built while creating their own story with it.

One of the biggest reasons I feel so confident about this transition is because of who will be stepping into this role.

Aubree has been by my side through countless events, weddings, late nights, early mornings, and everything in between. She has seen firsthand what it takes to run The Proper Pig, not just on the good days, but during the stressful moments that clients never see.

This isn’t goodbye.

I will continue serving all booked weddings and events through the remainder of 2026, and we still have a few openings available this year. I will also personally fulfill all weddings that are already booked for 2027 to ensure every client receives the experience they’ve been promised.

In addition, I will continue taking on micro events, grazing tables, charcuterie workshops, and specialty experiences moving forward, as those are still a passion of mine and something I truly enjoy creating.

This decision comes from a place of gratitude. Seasons change, priorities shift, and sometimes the greatest blessing is being able to pass an opportunity on to someone else the way it was once passed on to me.

To every client, bride, vendor, employee, friend, and supporter who has been part of this journey.. thank you. You’ve helped build something truly special, and I’ll forever be grateful.
