Happy to report we breezed through the final building inspection today. 🎉🎉

Beyond grateful for KP Plumbing, Dunham Electrical Edge, Graham's Flooring & Design, and CB Handyman Services for their excellent work getting me through this stage.

No doubt my long weekend will be spent moving in equipment and supplies. Next step will be getting the health department approval to start using the space.

BIG progress this week! Plumbing, electrical, and flooring are complete. There are a few little repairs to do before I call for the final inspection for the building permit. I've also reached out to the health department to see if they have any checks that need to be completed before I move stuff in. 🤓

This week was about tearing things down then putting them back together. The closet will be home to the refrigerator and it simply wasn't going to fit with the header in there. I worked out some aggression ripping out the drywall. The boys came by Sunday to help cut the header and wing framing out. Tuesday and Wednesday the handyman trimmed it out and painted the room. Today the flooring was installed. All of that chaos on top of the full time job.

I'm hoping to get another layer of paint applied before the electrician comes to finish on Monday.

I've got a little video to share of the electrical rough in that was complete on Aug 7th. Rough in inspections passed with ease last week! Shout out to Dunham Electrical Edge for the prompt and efficient work!

The cabinet o'sweets is stocked! This weekends offerings are 2pks of Peanut Butter or Chocolate Chip cookies, Brownies, and Peach Cobbler
Mini Loaves.

In the store you'll find jams, teas, herbs, honey, and all sorts of offerings from local artisans.

Verdant is open 10am - 5pm
Treats are available in the cabinet from 8:30am - 7:30pm
