Date night done right. ❤️🥩

Sometimes you just need to put the phones away, enjoy great conversation, and share an incredible meal.

We kicked things off with the shrimp cocktail (10/10 🤌 I could have done another round), then my husband went all in with the Certified Angus Beef Prime 22 oz. bone-in “Cowboy Cut” ribeye, while I went with the filet Oscar Style… rare + of course, and it was perfect.

If you’re looking for a spot for a special occasion, or just an excuse to enjoy an amazing meal, this place definitely delivers.

Here’s to good food, great company, and making time for each other. 🥂

If you’re looking for southern food done right in Louisville, Doc Crow’s is the spot . 🔥

The Bavarian Pretzel with Doc’s Cheese is a must-order and easily one of my favorite starters—warm, soft, salty perfection paired with that rich, creamy cheese dip. 🥨🧀

And the Shrimp & Grits? Absolutely worth the hype. Perfectly cooked shrimp, creamy grits, and bold Southern flavor in every bite. 🍤✨

Doc Crow’s continues to be one of my go-to spots downtown for great food, great atmosphere, and a menu that never disappoints.

Oh! And what a bourbon collection… over 1300 bottles, including so many rare finds. What’s your favorite thing to order at Doc Crow’s?

The perfect post-gardening treat… Chenin Blanc tastes like spring in a glass. Bright, aromatic, with hints of citrus and floral. So delish!

Looking for something fun (and a little different) to do for Oaks Day?

I found this hidden gem— Iron Bell is hosting a progressive brunch on their historic acreage and it’s giving spring vibes in Kentucky!

Think:
🐎 Catered brunch stations
🐎 Drinks + Oaks Day energy
🐎 Live music
🐎 Strolling beautiful grounds

It’s the kind of place you go and immediately wonder how you didn’t know about it before.

Even better...this event supports the retreat space + programs this nonprofit hosts year-round for leaders, families, and the community. So you’re basically brunching for a good cause.

If you’re looking to go out on Oaks Day, this is a really unique way to begin the day (and a great spot to bring friends).

Register now before they sell out. Visit to get your ticket
