Black Adventuristas is a platform, created by Veronica E. Garnett, which aims to inspire black women to conquer their fears, pursue their dreams, and fully experience the adventure that is life. Whether it is traveling the world, tackling an epic bucket list, quitting a "good" job to pursue a non-traditional career, trying a daring new hair or lipstick color, or simply dining alone for the first time, all adventures are worthwhile. This was my first day of culinary school in 2017. My skin was skinning I tell you! Shouldn’t this face be on the cover of a magazine? Taste of Home magazine in particular. If you vote for me and I win the Favorite Chef competition, it will be!

Hey Y’all! Because I placed 2nd in my group last night in the Favorite Chef competition, I get a 2nd chance at advancing to the quarterfinals! I have to place 1st in this wildcard round. So I’m humbly asking everyone to keep voting. You can vote for free once every 24 hours. I have over 1,000 FB friends. If everyone contributed their free vote every day until Sunday night, I could have a shot at this. I know the FB algorithm is a hater though 😕
