Zivanai is an award-winning music artiste, audio engineer and producer as well as a much sought-after music educator. Born in Harare into an extended family of master musicians deeply involved in traditional mbira and brass band music cultures, he was immersed in diverse music traditions and performances from a very early age. That gave him a very solid foundation for a music career that has seen him play with, and share the stage with legendary artistes as diverse as Bonnie Raitt, Black Uhuru, Oliver Mtukudzi, The String Cheese Incident, The Motet, Thomas Mapfumo, Bela Fleck, Elephant Revival and many others. One word has been used to describe Zivanai’s music - UPLIFTING!

Sunflower Farm Acres, is currently offering a 14 week Fall organically grown Veggie CSA that begins next Thursday the 20th through the 19th of November, pick up is at either at the backyard of Moxie Louisville on Thursdays each week or at Moxie Feed+Seed in NoBo from 2:30-5:30PM or at the Sunflower Farm in Longmont from 4:30-7PM. This time if year our fields are full of abundance, so it’s a great time to try out our CSA!

We have 2 Share sizes available:

"I quit my day job in Sept. 1997 and embarked on the long and winding road of being a full-time performer who writes and records his own songs and performs all over North America and in Europe. My songs are of a rootsy Americana sort. As much as anything else, I'm coming from a country blues place, but even people on the streets in Mississippi generally don't know what country blues is anymore. That's alright, because people like it when they hear it!"

We’ve been dreaming about this one for a long time 🌾

Our very first Farm to Moxie dinner is here, a joyful farm to table meal in our backyard, in partnership with Slow Food Boulder County. It’s a night to bring the community together around the table and celebrate the local, regenerative farms whose values are woven into everything we do.

Cooking for us is Cheney Francis. Expect a five-course, family-style dinner: vegetable-forward, a main featuring local beef, fresh Moxie bread, and dessert from our pastry team. Plus live music from Zivanai Masango and a bar with local beers, organic wines, house-made NA shrubs, and cocktails from Dry Land Distillers.

It’s our first of these, and we’d love for you to be there for the start of it 🤍

When: Saturday, August 22nd · 6–8:30pm

N**e Foods Market Opens New Satellite Store Inside Moxie Bread Co. in North Boulder

Zero-waste grocery favorite, N**e Foods market, is bringing plastic-free meals, groceries and goods to one of Boulder’s most beloved neighborhood gathering spots.

N**e Foods Market, Colorado’s package-free grocery store known for
making low-waste shopping easy, beautiful, and delicious, is opening their first satellite store inside Moxie Bread Co. in North Boulder.
Located at 4593 Broadway, Boulder, CO, the new N**e Foods Market at Moxie brings almost the whole selection of N**e Foods’ community-loved groceries to North Boulder, including prepared meals, pantry staples, snacks, coffee and tea, oils and vinegars, baking essentials, beans, grains, pasta, nuts, seeds, dried fruit, and local goods - all available in N**e Foods’ reusable glass jar system.

The partnership brings together two Boulder businesses with deeply aligned values: thoughtful sourcing, community connection, local food, and a desire to build a better food system.

“We’ve always wanted N**e Foods to feel joyful, easy, and welcoming - not like a sacrifice,” said Verity Noble, co-founder of N**e Foods Market. “Moxie is such a beloved North Boulder gathering place, and we couldn’t imagine a better home for our next step. People can grab incredible bread, coffee, and pastries, then pop into the back and stock up on beautiful, zero-waste groceries. It feels like the future of neighborhood shopping.”

The new satellite store is designed as a smaller, highly shoppable version of N**e Foods’ full grocery stores in Boulder and Denver. Customers can shop prefilled glass jars just like they would shop a traditional grocery aisle, then return empty containers to any N**e Foods location (or have them picked up from their home) for reuse.

Each prefilled item includes a refundable jar deposit. Customers return their containers when finished, helping eliminate single-use packaging from everyday grocery shopping.

N**e Foods Market was founded in 2020 by Rachel Irons, Verity Noble, Jimmy Uvodich and Matt Arnold with a mission to make sustainable grocery shopping convenient, accessible, and genuinely enjoyable. Since then, the company has grown from a pandemic-era bike delivery service into a nationally recognized zero-waste grocery business with stores in Boulder and Denver, plus home delivery around the Boulder-Denver corridor. The Moxie location marks the company’s first “store-within-a-store” satellite store, a model N**e Foods hopes will help bring zero-waste groceries into more neighborhoods without the footprint
of a full-size grocery store.

“We’re so excited to partner with such a values-aligned local business, allowing us to serve a wider portion of our beautiful Boulder community.” said Rachel Irons, Co-founder of N**e Foods Market.
“This is about meeting people where they already are,” said Noble. “Not everyone has got around to trying N**e Foods yet, but so many people want to reduce waste and support local food. By placing N**e Foods inside beloved community spaces like Moxie, we can make that opportunity easier.”

The new location also reflects a growing interest in simpler, lower-waste ways to shop as concerns rise around plastic pollution, microplastics, and the environmental impact of food packaging.

N**e Foods at Moxie is fully open from Saturday 6/27/26 during Moxie Bread Co.’s regular business hours (7.30am-4pm M-F and 7.30am - 3pm S-S).

Opening celebration details:
N**e Foods Market at Moxie will officially be opening on Saturday 27th June so come by to check it out and enjoy some free snacks and samples. A ribbon cutting will happen at 11am.
