4 Black Angus heifers, originally from South Dakota. Bull bred, local Iowa purebred Black Angus stock. Due in May.

Originally part of herd that was sold at auction on December 13th at Russel Livestock sale barn. Those bred heifers calves are due in February.

Grass hay mowed end of May, no rain. 51 of the 150 bales remaining as us October 28th.

We will be butchering our farm raised heifer next Wed. Sept 2nd.
We like to sell half of the heifer's hanging weight at $1.70/pound. The total costs will include half of the processing cost to butcher the heifer. You can choose however you want your beef packaged.
