I wasn’t sure how to respond at first. I offered my next-door neighbor a free dozen of fresh free-range eggs, and she asked, “Are they brown?” I said yes, and she made a face and said, “Eww, I don’t like brown eggs.”

For a household of 8, I was definitely surprised! I’ve never noticed a taste difference between my brown, blue, green, or white eggs. So I took the dozen across the street—and they were very happy to have them!

Ladies and gentlemans, after many months, I can proudly say I caught another escaped chicken from slaughterhouse. 😊☺️
