Every kitten you see here arrived needing a safe place to land, but there are countless more still waiting for their chance.

Keeping our dedicated kitten room open means providing specialty food, extra litter, enrichment, and around-the-clock care for our youngest rescues until they’re healthy enough for adoption. It’s lifesaving work, but we can’t do it without our community.

Why are there so many kittens in Los Angeles right now?

It’s called Kitten Season: the time of year when shelters, rescues, and foster homes are inundated with kittens needing care.

CHERRY was one of them. Her journey from an abandoned parking lot to her forever home shows exactly what’s at stake, and how many people it takes to save just one life.

This fundraiser helps keep our Kitten Room open so we can continue helping kittens like CHERRY find their happy endings.
