Coming to CatCon in October? 🐈 Here’s how we’d spend the weekend exploring the city, eating well, and fitting in as much cat time as possible.

CatConWorldwide 2026 is October 10-11 at the Pasadena Convention Center, so whether you’re local or visiting, it’s a great opportunity to explore LA and see all the cat-filled stops our city offers.

And if you’re looking for things to do in Los Angeles, things to do near LAX, cat-friendly LA activities, or the best cat cafe in Los Angeles, consider this the ultimate guide.

Save this for your CatCon 2026 trip and send it to your fellow cat people 🐾

Whatever kind of day you’re having, consider this your sign to come see the cats 🐈

CatCafe Lounge is a nonprofit cat cafe in Venice Beach where you can spend time with nearly 40 adoptable rescue cats, come solo, or bring a friend.

Because sometimes the best things to do in LA involve doing absolutely nothing except hanging out with cats.

POV: you’re craving fall, but it’s still 80° in LA 🥵🍂

Good thing we have AC, cold drinks, and a room full of rescue cats to help you capture the vibe of cozy season.

Come hang out with our adoptable cats & kittens in Venice Beach 🐈🤎

You don’t have to wait for your friend to be free.
You don’t need a date.
You don’t need the group chat.
You don’t even need a reason.

You can just come spend an hour with some cats, bring a book, sit quietly, or see where the afternoon takes you.

Because sometimes the best plans are the ones you make just for yourself 🐈

Come solo. We’ll have the cats waiting.

We couldn’t be prouder of Jacquie and Luxe Paws ❤️

We keep coming back to Jacquie’s words in her recent conversation with the Los Angeles Times: “I just want everyone to do something.”

To us, that message captures what this work is really about. The cat overpopulation crisis is enormous, and the people working to address it cannot do it alone. Every act of support, from learning about TNR to helping a cat in your neighborhood, supporting a rescue, volunteering, or donating, can play a part in breaking the cycle.

We’re so honored to work alongside Jacquie and grateful to see her work, and the cats she fights for every day, receiving this kind of attention.

POV: you finally see yourself through a cat’s eyes and… oh 😭🐈

One thing guests are always surprised by at CatCafe Lounge? How much space the cats have.

Our two-story cat lounge in Venice Beach gives rescue cats room to run, climb, play, nap, and explore.

And when the wand toys come out? There’s plenty of room for the zoomies 🐈
