Chess pie comes in a lot of flavors, but I love how the sweet custard is balanced by the tart lemon. I will humble brag for a second because all of my lemons now come from my tree here in Los Angeles. It’s the best. 👨🏼‍🍳🌳😋

I would be selling this as our traditional personal-sized loaf cake at events. This moist cake can be eaten any time of day - it has a lightly spiced streusel topping with chocolate chips inside. Regardless, it’s yummy and I’ve already had three slices. 😋🍫🍰
