#LorainEats - A Movement You Can Eat!
We all remember a time in the very recent past, when Lorain was a location, not a destination.
Well, we have caught lightning in a bottle now. Not only do we finally have ‘just a reason’ to come to Lorain, we have ‘many reasons’. Our many new downtown eateries are feeding off of entertainment locations, which are feeding off the buzz of our new Broadway Streetscape and Entertainment District. All of this excitement comes at a time when we are finally poised to enjoy a great spring and summer in 2020.
Unfortunately, the COVID-19 outbreak has put a serious damper on our spring and threatens our summer and businesses. Due to this, it is imperative that we as Lorainites take pride and ownership of how our City’s restaurant scene will look after this pandemic passes.
There has been an outpouring of social media posts celebrating the wonderful food options offered by our Lorain eateries. As these small businesses attempt to simply survive through these tough times, it is the public support from the everyday customer and the major support by our larger businesses that will allow them to keep the lights on, so we can continue enjoying the progress we’ve made for months and years to come!
