Let’s learn from the professionals how we could see the signs earlier and try our best to prevent another lost. We are in crisis mode as a people. We are use to trauma, that we think it’s normal. Let’s try to heal together family.

My friend and brother is no longer here. At 31 years young he made the decision and took his own life. Djeser was one of most intelligent and humble brothers I’ve ever met. Djeser was a master at many things!!! He loved to teach with anyone who was willing to learn. I love my brother and pray that I am able to continue to set 1/2 the examples he set in his young life. I was blessed to share many memories with you my brother. Never in a million and one years did I think you would do such a thing. I pray you are traveling peacefully my brother, you deserve it. To anyone who suffers internally and have suicidal thoughts, you worth fighting for!! If nothing else, know that who are not suffering alone. My brother was suffering too and no matter how times we as a community encouraged and supported him, he still saw this way as his path to salvation. Sing a song for my. Brother!!! The earth took a major major loss, trust me when I tell you.
Djeser hosted chess every Friday night for years at I remember I had a crazy idea about renovating the restaurant and spoke my vision to you and you said, “Yeah, I could make it happen”. Then you got to work!! Thank you for blessing us.

Futures In The Youth Inc., a non profit from the city of Lithonia is partnering with the City of Lithonia and the LBA for a day of service. Every 3rd Saturday of the month we will be cleaning up our streets.
