I'm updating about Tru North Pizza to help everyone better understand where things stand.general rundown of the past 9 yrs..I took over under a land contract of TNP in 2007,with the support of the community it turned into a very successful deli helping me to financially bring the gas part of it back.thus making it an even more thriving business in our local area.In less then 4 years I was able to have the land contract becoming fulfilled earlier then originally anticipated. In the meantime the old owner wanted me to rewrite a different land contract changing the original terms.I declined and as a result, numerous "issues" occurred in attempts to detour my business success including selling the gas equipment and interfering with the operational guidelines through the dept of health which forced me to close my doors often making my hours of operation inconsistent further "hurting"business.this all resulted in litigations though both Lisbon and Supreme courts as to weather or not I should be responsible for the remainder of the contract or less since the sale of the once included equipment was removed, putting the price to an end after the equipment cost was deducted off the original amount.court proceedings had all been ruled in my favor and going we're moving forward smoothly until 3 years ago I had to unfortunately make a decision to close to take care of personal health issues as I felt my employees should not have to work under some unfavorable working conditions brought on by others when I was unable to physically be there. When I tried to return to reopen I found the store in a terrible condition which brought us back into Supreme Court with additional terms including repairs and rightful hands who hold the keys to the doors.I need not to go into depth about how ugly court proceedings can become..I do know however,I have never signed off on the rights to Tru North Pizza business registered last to myself and have not received any new order from Supreme Court that I no longer have possession/interest in the property. This property is also in foreclosure due to unpaid taxes and other state department penalties. This road I have been forced to walk down has not been easy..but determination from myself to keep moving forward with blind justice behind me,will remain until otherwise decided by the law.
Thank you, Shelli
