Yes, it's true, and now it's official.
LA KEBABERIE IS TAKING A BREAK.
It's not a nervous breakdown, nor a dramatic farewell.
It's just that classic "it's not you, it's us."
From day one, our mission was simple: to prove that a kebab could be more than a 2am regret. We gave it dignity, flavour, and maybe even a little bit of attitude.
And honestly. we think we nailed it. We were successful. desired. craved. sometimes
misunderstood. We even got copied. We can proudly say we were someone's guilty
pleasure. Just like in all great love stories, right?
But the world changed.
You changed, and so did we.
The kebab, let's be real, hasn't exactly made its way into Lisbon's daily cravings.
It's still fighting a few stereotypes, and that makes it hard to compete.
So we've come to believe that this project, as it stands, doesn't quite belong.
At least, not for now.
That's why our goal is no longer to keep LA KEBABERIE going, at least not in this format. Because an opportunity came along, one of those offers you just can't refuse.
So yes, we hit pause.
We're not closing. We're not dying.
We're just catching our breath.
Even bread needs to rest before going back on the grill.
But not all is lost. Our Instagram will stay alive, dripping with memories,
nostalgia, and maybe a few clues about what's next.
Because kebabs don't die. They just change shape.
Thank you for every bite, every complaint, every "no onions, please."
We love you.
But let's be honest, whose fault is it really?
With love and mild resentment.
