As I lock the door and turn the lights out one more time I am filled with immense gratitude for all my customers and the community that has surrounded and supported me and this shop. When it was bought it was meant to be a retirement plan for a family and a fun new purpose for me. In the three years I have been here I have faced multiple sever sicknesses, loss of my family, redirection of my entire life, gaining new understanding of life lessons, a much deeper relationship with my loving Heavenly Father, and gained a very large amount of friends that have become family to me. This shop saved my life multiple times. Over the last few weeks I have learned how much this shop has meant to some of y’all and hearing those stories has brought me great joy. I was blessed to see women who couldn’t get pregnant become pregnant, customers get married, lots of babies be born (one was fun as she was in active labor in the shop), people find their purpose, people find Jesus, marriages get mended and love grow, strangers become best friends, and long lost friend reunite. I have never measured success with pennies in the drawer but by the lives that were positively touched as they left my shop. And as close this chapter, the memories of each smiling face and every tear caught on my shoulder bring comfort and a level of peace knowing that y’all felt as blessed by me as I ever was by y’all. I will miss the ladies walking in the morning waving as they go by, Mr Chris and his wife walking their dog every day, the laughter, the stories told, the random church moments that broke out, and seeing everyone’s awesome face. Y’all will always have a special spot in my heart. I love you!!! Thank you for everything y’all have done for me if you knew you were doing it or not.
