Freya's Hearth Where simple ingredients become magical. My name is Courtney, and I am the founder and owner of Freya's Hearth.

I have been in the food service business for the majority of my career, and it stemmed from a love of sharing good food with those I care about. Like so many others my education on the culinary arts began in the kitchen beside my grandmother and through many happy afternoons I began to hone my skills. After developing a particular knack for all things pastry, I decided that that is where I would find my place. After many years of hard work and recipe testing, I am happy to be able to bring all the knowledge I have compiled combined with my own magical touch to bring a variety to sweet treats perfect for any occasion.

We have one more major announcement for today. Some of you may know at this point that sadly we will be limited as to what we can do and offer after October. My partner and I are happy to announce that we are expecting a baby boy right at the beginning of November! We are beyond excited, but this does mean that, depending on my recovery, we may not be able to offer much for the upcoming holiday season. We will be sure to keep everyone informed and we want to thank everyone for the continued love and support.

My apologizes for the radio silence from us. Things around the hearth have been in a bit of disarray. We have recently moved into a new home, and it has taken a bit to get everything, and everyone settled. (You never really realize how much stuff you have until you have to pack it all up and move it lol.) We have some amazing things in the works so be sure to keep an eye out as to where this adventure will take us next! We are now back up and running and prepping for a most wonderful market this month at Flora & Fauna Marketplace! This will be our first time vending with them and we are so incredibly excited to be a part of their Hobbit Market! Get ready for all kinds of savory and sweet treats and breads that will complement any Hobbit meal.

Despite the heat the strange dark and mysterious market was absolutely amazing! The speakers were awesome and the vendors had so much to offer. The venue was full of natural beauty. We had such a good time getting to mingle with everyone and of course being able to provide delicious baked goods. Thank you so much for having us this year!

We are in the final count down to the highly anticipated Strange Dark and Mysterious Market !! We have some very big changes coming up and we will have a sneak peek of the event menu posting very soon. We had such an amazing turn out at Friarsgate Festival this past weekend! Thank you all so much for the love and support. We hope to make this an annual event. We met so many amazing creators and had so much fun, checking out all of the amazing costumes and frolicking with the other fairies and fair goers in attendance. We definitely hope to see everybody again next year! stay tuned for more amazing adventures coming up.
