A huge thank you to Nick for this incredible mallet. What makes it especially meaningful is that this wasn't just any shop tool. This was his personal mallet, used in his shop and to hang axe heads on the beautifully crafted handles he's known for.
Some tools are more than tools. They're part of a story.
Knowing the work, craftsmanship, and countless projects that passed through these hands and this tool makes it something I'll treasure for years to come. Every mark tells a story, and I'm honored to be the next caretaker of a small piece of that legacy.
Thank you, Nick. I'll put it to good use.
As always, Go Cubs!!
