Change does not happen often at the Oldest Barbeque Joint in Texas, going back to 1882. But recently, we got to feeling that our menu got too complicated. So, we are throwing it back to the old days to make ordering simple again. From 1886 ’til about 1992, Southside Market & Barbeque’s world headquarters were over on Central Ave in downtown Elgin. It even had knives chained to the tables. You know, for convenience.
