Are your FB Campaigns not getting approved? Use these Simple Hacks
Let’s quickly discuss why your ads are being disapproved. We are so busy building our online store, researching products, making videos or looking for pictures, etc. that frankly there aren’t enough hours in the day for us to start reading entire advertising policies.
Facebook advertising has become very strict on these policies and even a single word can get your ad disapproved as a violation of policy.
Let’s pick the Beauty Niche to illustrate today’s example and go over the 3 basic areas used by FB for their automated approval process.
✍️ Ad Copy
Don’t write anything in the text that cannot be proven 100%. Example: “Say goodbye to all kinds of skin discolorations...” First glance, this seems pretty innocent, but your claim cannot be proven. Are you sure that it will clear ALL sort of discolorations? Absolutely not. Focus your ad copy on the product itself.
🖼️ Pictures
Don’t use any pictures with a Before & After theme in your ads. Also, don’t use pictures with a specific area zoomed in. Use pictures of the product.
📹 Videos
Same as above, if your video contains Before & After content or Results Claims, edit them out. Now remember we are discussing Beauty products, other niches will have their own policies in place. Use more footage of the product and less of people. Quick shots on how to apply it are OK. Use text to cover up borderline footage.
So, your Ad Copy is all OK, your Pictures are great, your Video has been corrected, but your ad is still being disapproved! It’s probably your Landing Page...
LANDING PAGES
FB also sends bots to your landing pages, this is to ensure your ad matches the product and that it is not a scam. The most common error is that we may have Before & After pictures in the Product Images Section. The solution, move those photos to the Descriptive Section of the page.
You’re all set!
