We are a little lax on the social media updating but wanted to pop in and say Hi to all of our facebook friends and fans..

We have some great new cultures in the store and will be updating the store front here shortly to reflect all of the new offerings from tea to our new cultures (th island and the Golden Triangle. We will also be bringing back the Vienna culture as well as offering more varieties of Kefir and Water Grains as well as Ginger Beer Plant.

The start of something beautiful !

Meet Dawn Eugene and Bridgette Schfoeilder Heirloom Kombucha and Jun my two new Jun babies that should hopefully reestablish our Jun nursery. Thank you to Dawn and Elisabeth both for sending me these pretty babies !

The first mentions online that reference Jun mention a man who sold this particular drink from his trunk in Eugene Oregon.

What is Jun ?

I'm also comparing the types of honey that I use to see if 100% organic raw locally sources honey vs. Mexican/store bought honey will show any discernible difference in growth/taste/production.

I will still maintain a storefront on eBay and Etsy but the prices will be different on each store as the selling fees are higher on each front.

Using the store here allows payment via PayPal, my merchant account and I will offer the best pricing on everything for sale here.

I ship within 3 days of the purchase not including weekends.

If there is a kombucha/fermenting related product that you would like to see me carry please send me a PM and I'll see what I can do to get them in stock.

Listings like this give me a headache !

Please please please do not use ACV to make Kombucha.

Why ?

Apple Cider Vineger is a known host to Vinegar Eels !

What are these eels you ask ?

You don't want these in your kombucha.

If you don't have enough starter you can take the existing scoby and place it with a cup of cooled off sweet tea and let it sit for a week or so and you should have enough starter to move into a bigger batch. In a desperate pinch you can also use white distilled vinegar but it can leave a taste that can take a batch or two to work out.

In the next week I will be moving part of the sales over to this page through shopify and using this platform to sell cultures and tea.

Bear with me while we get this in motion !

How do i place a order? Is your store open now with covid19?
Is this group closed?
Hello, I need to buy a Scoby from you. I tried going onto Etsy but couldn’t find you there? Can you please contact me. Thank you
Hi there, Are you open for business? Thanks
How do you order here?
I got my Tibetan scoby! It says it’s pu-erh tea starter I only have organic green and black tea here at home. Will I ruin something if I don’t have pu-erh and use green and or black tea? I hear it’s kind of hard to find and with as hard as it was to find local organic black not flavored it was quite the hunt.
Are you still in business? I really need a scoby. Bad.
Hey lady I paid for your overpriced kombucha with an additional $8 shipping last week. Where the hell is my package ???
What is the difference between the island girl, 9th island and golden triangle versus the regular Tibetan scoby?
