Hey NMSU FRNds!
Hope all is going well! As an NMSU Alum I would like to challenge you all to come together to gather supplies for the Hurricane Harvey Relief efforts. Survivors are in need of tarps, hair ties, tire repair kits, roofing nails, 2x4's, towels/ wash clothes, anti-acids and, extension cords, garden hoses, and 100% deet repellant. I recently volunteered with individuals from El Paso in the Rockport, Houston, and Seadrift areas. The devastation is surreal, but the response to this disaster has been overwhelming and heart warming. If you are interested in helping please contact me, and I can help coordinate this drive, and how to transport the supplies to Texas.

HEY ALL!! Our first night of the dorm room recovery was pretty successful! I'm sure that tonight and tomorrow night will be even more so now that we've got the word out there which means we STILL NEED VOLUNTEERS!!! It's a super easy task and it'll look great on your resume! We're going to meet at Corbett near Einstein Bagels at 5 so we can touch base with any new volunteers briefly then head out to our spots! For any more info contact Samantha Aguirre at (575)-642-0433

FRNd's!!!! We need your help in spreading the word about our dorm room recovery happening Tuesday May 5th-Thursday May 9th from 5-8pm!!! If you or someone you know lives in PiƱon, Garcia, RGH, or Chamisa then you are well aware that this week is move-out week. Let us take a load off your hands and donate any unopened, non-refrigerated food to Food Recovery Network! Last year we were able to save around 600 lbs of food! All of the food donated will be delivered to El Caldito Soup Kitchen! Find us in the main entrances/lobbies/commons areas in your residence hall. We are also still in need of volunteers so if you don't have food to donate, you can still help out by donating your time! We hope to see you there!
