Dear Las Cruces,
It absolutely breaks our hearts to say that Willow + Blaine has closed its doors for good.
To open a restaurant in the Mesilla Valley is an insanely tenacious, risky, and ambitious task; what a wild ride!
We tried our very best to create a unique and exciting dining experience for our town; the time we were able to spend sharing that experience with our guests, however brief, has, undoubtedly, been some of the best times of our lives. And hopefully yours. Many of the relationships we have built along the way will last well beyond the life of the bistro.
To anyone who gave us the opportunity to make their evening or event special, to anyone who ever passed along a kind word or post, to our vendors, our employees, our landlord, thank you, thank you, thank you. Thank you for being adventurous, and impassioned, and for taking a chance on us, in some way or another. We were truly inspired, and equally touched by the outpouring of support and patronage for our little restaurant, and for that we were, and are, exceedingly grateful. We hope you all will continue to support your local businesses.
So, although our hearts are heavy, we will fondly remember the time we were able to spend filling bellies, and putting smiles on faces.
