This Thursday is our final event for the year. What a year it has been for us! We have cooked for 83 events in 2024, our busiest year yet and we can certainly use the rest. I could not even imagine doing this, let alone succeeding, without my incredible team. When I say it takes a village.....IT TAKES A VILLAGE. To our clients, thank you for being and becoming part of our family. Every event, ;large or small. is a memory we cherish. A very Happy Holiday season to you all and a PROSPEROUS 2025!!!

We had such a wonderful event last night. We gathered, regardless of political affiliation, and celebrated that the first woman of color has been nominated for President of the United States. We had over 200 people here at the venue, all of whom were full of glee, joy, and love. it was our first time running “a restaurant” for that many people. There were some hiccups, but my servers and my back of the house were exceptional. And the food was slamming! A big thank you, and happy birthday birthday, to my cousins Lisa Abad-Brown and Julie Abad-Piazza and their families who drove out from Detroit to come and support this venture. And now that that event is over, I’ve been in the kitchen for the past two hours cooking for our next three events over the next two days. I can’t wait for Sunday, when I can just stay in bed and recuperate. finally, the biggest shout out to Phebeit Jackson-Ingram for always being the most incredible, warm, and welcoming host. Thank you for making this Venue home to me and my team.
