What an incredible honor to be recognized by one of our State Representatives! This was a surprise to us and we are humbled!!

Congratulations to our September Small Business of the Month, The Willow Where Our Roots Began. The Willow Where Our Roots Began is a local cafe and boutique in Delta Township that specializes in freshly made foods, including hummus, charcuterie boards, salads, sandwiches, and other pastry and coffee items.

The owners, Clinton and Nancy, recently celebrated their first anniversary of their business back in July. Congratulations again, and thank you for all that you do for the Delta Township community!

Happy Wednesday! Let’s have some fun 🤩. What’s bringing your heart joy right now? It can be big or small!

🧶 I’ll start; my knitting. I’m in a fun part of the pattern that’s forming these pretty “Sugar Dots”. I love this variegated yarn- it’s so pretty! 🎶 ☕️ And things this photo couldn’t capture? The beautiful music that was playing in the shop as I sat in silence and my hot latte I was sipping on. It’s these simple moments of pause in a day that help me rebalance.
🩷When I see this work in progress, it makes me think of my friend “J”. She saw my project last week as I was knitting a row. While we were talking she gave me such a sweet compliment. God sent her to me to love me in this season and share wisdom with me! “J”, you are a bright light in my life!
💐And to think if we hadn’t opened this shop, I wouldn’t have met her! Here’s to all the amazing people who came in as customers and have become friends. And here’s to all those yet to become new friends 🥂

It’s National Coffee Day today! And that makes me so happy! I love coffee! I can drink decaf or regular- doesn’t matter to me; I just love the flavor! Side note: if you drink decaf make sure it’s processed utilizing water process or a healthy natural process. Traditional decaf uses chemicals in the decaffeinating process.
Of course, here at The Willow Where Our Roots Began, we aren’t ok with that so we make sure to buy organic water processed decaf coffee.
So treat yourself today in celebration and grab yourself a latte made with our delicious house-made syrups or just a good ol’ Americano! Cheers ☕️

Just a friendly reminder that we will not be having sourdough on Mondays. We will however, have our artisan bread available Mondays, and our sourdough Tuesday- Friday (while our daily batches last). Cinnamon rolls will be available in the week starting Tuesdays, while they last.
We have our cooler stocked with Edamame Crunch Bowls, Peanut Butter Cup Bliss, dips, and our full menu is available! Our soup is Creamy Tomato Basil 🌿. Hope you had a great weekend!
