🌧️ Market Update 🌧️

Unfortunately, Penny Thymes will not be attending the Holly Farmers Market this Sunday due to the rainy forecast.

As a small microbakery, each market requires several days of preparation, followed by baking that begins around 2 a.m. We have attended several rainy markets, but the lower foot traffic has made them financially difficult. We have also already had to replace a tent and tablecloths this year because of rain-related damage.

After a lot of consideration, we decided it was best to keep the bread—and our market setup—safe and dry this weekend. We’re sorry we won’t get to see everyone, but we truly appreciate your understanding and support. We look forward to baking for you again soon! ❤️🍞

Our next scheduled market is October 11th. We are excited to see everyone again soon ❤️

Making my September calendar I realized I never made/posted an August one…oops😅
To be honest, I’ve been in a bit of a creative/social slump…but I’m still here baking away pre orders! As always you can place those at anytime, as well as find me at the market on the following dates with the bagel bar.

Everyone wish a very happy 9th birthday to the sweet little kitty who inspired it all—Penny! 🥳🐱🎂

Penny is our beloved mascot, official quality-control supervisor, and the heart of Penny Thymes. She spends her days overseeing bakery operations, demanding treats, and making sure her mom takes an occasional break for cuddles. 💕🐾

To celebrate her special day, we’re bringing a little birthday fun to the Holly Farmers Market this Sunday! We’ll have birthday-themed goodies, including Celebration Sourdough and Birthday Scones, along with the rest of our freshly baked menu.

Happy birthday, Penny girl! We hope your day is filled with cuddles, naps, and all the treats your heart desires! 🎉💗

It’s a birthday weekend at Penny Thymes! 🐱🎂🎉

🌻 We’re finally back at the Holly Farmers Market! 🌻

It’s been a little while since our last market thanks to a busy work schedule and some not-so-cooperative Michigan weather, but I’m so excited to be back this Sunday, August 16th! 💛

Come find Penny Thymes at the Holly Farmers Market in Crapo Park from 10 AM–2 PM. I’ll have plenty of bakery staples along with some fun summer flavors, including:
